OVERVIEW

PLANT SIZE:
Climbing hoya, develops very large leaves when given the right environment
COLD HARDINESS:
This plant can exist outdoors in zones 10a-11. It does not like being in temperatures below 40 degrees F. 
MAINTENANCE:
Mid Maintenance.  Slow Grower. 
LIGHT:
Bright indirect light, to some direct sun, which can turn the leaves a wonderful shade of red. Can also thrive in low light conditions, but is not favorable.
WATERING:
Like most Hoya plants, these are succulents and require very little water. Water weekly during the summer, and even less in winter time. 
SOIL:
General all purpose soil, heavily mixed in with bits of charcoal, perlite, and bits of bark and/or coconut husk. 
DOES IT FLOWER?
Yes, they blossom yellowish wax flowers. 
IS IT POISONOUS/TOXIC?
All Hoyas are considered toxic (as they produce sap similar to the milkweed), but not necessarily poisonous, the amount of ingestion varies from animal, but on a whole the ASPCA regards them as safe to have around pets and children.
CAN IT BE PROPAGATED FROM CUTTINGS?
Yes. These can be propagated anytime using stem tip cuttings. The stems produce aerial roots which can root easily when inserted into a moist medium. Allow your cuttings to dry for a day before planting.

Common Pests: Spider Mites, Mealy bugs, Scale / Common diseases: root rot due to overwatering.
