+ Responsibly forested, FSC certified Birch plywood. Valued for its appealing light color, this Baltic Birch veneer features a uniform grain, smooth texture and outstanding durability.
+ Heavy-duty, professionally welded steel brackets by Sheppard Brackets. These brackets feature precision CNC machined cut-outs every half inch so that fasteners may be placed where you need them—at the wall stud. Basic screws and drywall anchors are provided along with simple mounting instructions, though it is ultimately the buyer’s responsibility to determine the appropriate fasteners for their wall type.
+ Choice of finishes from natural, biodegradable, non-toxic, and renewable sources. All wood products feature Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Polyurethane, a USDA Certified Bio-based product.
+ Water-based adhesives that conform to ASTM D-4236.

I replaced a couple of old, HD lumber shelves with these three beautiful ones from Jesse James Studio. It took me and my wife about an hour to do ourselves, and we don't do this type of stuff often. The hardware was excellent. The only difficult thing was finding and making sure I had screws that fit properly. If the head is too large, the shelves won't seat. In all, a great purchase for our tiny lake house.

Seriously well made shelves
The shelves are just beautiful! I picked them specifically because the stacked plywood looked great with the plywood back and sides of my Floyd couch. My husband and I had no problems installing and they seem very sturdy!

This shelf was exactly what we were hoping for! It looks great and matches our bed and room perfectly. Gave them a custom length so it would match our bed width and they came through! Instructions were thorough - hardest part of installation was finding our studs, lol.

Wonderful! Great customer service and could not be happier with the shelves. So well finished and beautiful and the �stripes� on the side tie in all the wood in our house. Sturdy too ( we are putting dishes on them so we checked!)
We love these shelves! Jesse/James was very responsive and helpful, creating a custom order to meet the needs (1 inch less deep) of our space. The mounting hardware is very sturdy and allows for irregular stud spacing. It is also really (relatively) easy to install, with two people. Shelves pictured are unfinished, but definitely planning on a clear coat of poly. Workmanship and plywood edge is so perfect.
