OVERVIEW:

"Aisling" (ASH-ling) is a word from the Irish language that translates to dream, or vision.

Form meets function in a clean modern interpretation of the traditional bedside table.  Below an ample tabletop is a single pull out drawer with a bottom finger groove for storage of current books, tissues, reading glasses, etc.  The full overlay drawer face is adorned with a chevron end grain pattern and inlay accent of solid Walnut.  The drawer also features soft-close glides for smooth and quiet operation.  The provided wall cleat makes for a very simple and sturdy installation.  This table features the "Natural Finish", as pictured.

DIMENSIONS:  

Overall box measures 16 inches wide x 16 inches deep x 5 5/8 inches tall.  Interior drawer clearance measures 12 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 3 1/4 inches tall.  Total depth with drawer fully open is about 25 1/2 inches.

+ Responsibly forested, EPA TSCA Title VI certified (CARB PHASE 2 Compliant) Birch plywood. Valued for its appealing light color, this Baltic Birch veneer features a uniform grain, smooth texture and outstanding durability.
+ Tables mount with a provided wooden wall cleat.  Basic screws and drywall anchors are provided along with simple mounting instructions, though it is ultimately the buyer’s responsibility to determine the appropriate fasteners for their wall type.
+ Finishes from natural, biodegradable, non-toxic, and renewable sources.
+ Water-based adhesives that conform to ASTM D-4236.

GENERAL NOTES:

3.  Standard wood finishes:
     3a.  "Natural Finish" = a water-based polyurethane applied directly to the sanded wood in order to preserve as much of the natural Birch color as possible.
     3b.  "Linseed Finish" = a hand rubbed application of Tried & True Linseed Oil.  Once cured, a water-based polyurethane is applied to seal.  Please note that the linseed oil requires a minimum (5) days of curing time, so please allow extra time for shipment.
     3c.  "Walnut Finish" = a water-based wood stain from Safecoat is applied and wiped clean followed by a water-based polyurethane to seal.
     3d.  All wood products feature Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Polyurethane, a USDA Certified Bio-based product.
