Handmade Hanging Mobile w/ Assorted Porcelain Animal Figurines

NOTE: This mobile is intended as a decorative element and NOT a toy. Each animal is made of solid porcelain and as such, should NOT be mounted directly overhead or within reach of young children.

A whimsical marriage of wood and ceramics dance in this playful ceiling-mounted mobile! Six individual, hand-sculpted and hand-illustrated animal figurines (a cat, dog, fish, frog, bird, & snail) hang carefully counter balanced from a set of (3) sculpted plywood armatures. Each armature can freely rotate 360 degrees for a variety of configurations. Each animal is secured on monofilament line with a cinch knot to create the floating illusion.
Ceiling hardware is provided for both wood studs/ beams AND for drywall applications for added ease of installation. Mobile is shipped fully assembled and ready to hang with simple instructions.

DIMENSIONS:
Total height of the mobile, from ceiling to the lowest hung figurine is approximately 32 inches. Distance from ceiling to the bottom of the wooden armatures is approximately 12 inches (see elevation drawing in our photos for more information).
Width of the mobile at its widest section is approximately 16 inches.
Total assembled weight of the mobile is approximately 2 1/2 pounds.

+ Responsibly forested, CARB PHASE 2 Compliant Birch plywood, EPA TSCA Title VI Certified. Valued for its appealing light color, this Baltic Birch veneer features a uniform grain, smooth texture and outstanding durability.
+ Hanger bolts are provided for direct installation into wood and threaded bolts with spring toggles are provided for installation into typical drywall and plaster ceilings, though it is ultimately the buyer’s responsibility to determine the appropriate fasteners for their ceiling type.
+ All wood components feature Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Polyurethane, a USDA Certified Bio-based product.
+ All wood components are assembled with water-based adhesives that conform to ASTM D-4236.
+ All figurines are solid, glazed porcelain and hung on clear, 20 lb. monofilament line.
