Jesse designed Hot 8 Yoga's space in Pasadena, CA, while still working at Abramson Teiger Architects. The concept for the space centered around entering into a home environment, by using the traditional a-frame construction in the lobby. The use of Shou Sugi Ban (eg burned wood) added a feature of transformation that was inline with the client's branding. Golden lotus petals were hand-painted down the ceiling by Jesse and James.
