Jesse designed the flagship store for Loqui, while still working with Abramson Teiger Architects. While the budget was extremely limited for this project, the main emphasis centered around finding a way to bring a living dragon tree within the space, that you could see throughout the store. In this case, the space was an old car dealership from the 1940s. With careful consideration to the existing structure, the design opened up the ceiling in the back, as well as opened up the concrete floor and re-established the soil conditions underneath it. To this day, over ten years later, the tree is still alive and is still a main focal point to the success of this design.
